Support Worker – Concept Housing
Oldbury | £14.33 PAYE | 6–8 week contract Full‑time | 37.5 hours per week (9am–5pm) Driving essential
Concept Housing are looking for a Support Worker to join their team on a short‑term basis, supporting residents living in temporary accommodation and helping them move towards independence.
About the Role
This is a hands‑on, people‑focused position where you’ll work one‑to‑one with residents who may be facing complex challenges. You’ll carry out risk and needs assessments, develop personalised support plans, and help residents build the day‑to‑day skills they need to progress into permanent housing.
Your work will be varied - from completing housing benefit applications and explaining licence agreements, to linking residents with specialist services and identifying safeguarding concerns early. You’ll act as a consistent, trusted point of support, ensuring residents feel informed, listened to and empowered throughout their housing journey.
What We’re Looking For

Experience in housing, homelessness, support work or a similar setting

Confident working independently and managing your own caseload

Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust quickly

A proactive, adaptable approach

A full driving licence is essential
