About Us

We are a dedicated care provider supporting individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs to live fulfilling, independent lives within their local community. We're currently looking for compassionate, reliable Support Workers to join our team in Ruislip Manor.

About the Role

You'll be providing person-centred support to a client in their own home and community, helping them with daily living, personal care, and activities they enjoy, including regular trips to the swimming pool. This role requires someone who can confidently support the client both in and around water.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day personal care and support tailored to the individual's needs
• Accompany and actively support the client during swimming sessions
• Safely administer insulin as part of the client's care plan
• Drive the client to appointments, activities, and outings as required
• Support with daily living tasks, community access, and social activities
• Maintain accurate care records and communicate effectively with the wider care team
• Promote the client's independence, dignity, and wellbeing at all times

Requirements

• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
• Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle (essential, as travel is required)
• Confident swimmer, able to support the client during swimming activities
• Trained and competent in insulin administration (or willing to undertake training)
• Previous experience in a support work or care is Mandatory
• A caring, patient, and proactive approach
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
• Right to work in the UK
