Temporary Support Workers – Learning Disabilities, Autism & Mental Health

Location: Cowley (OX4) & Across Oxfordshire
Job Type: Temporary – Block Bookings, Full-Time Hours & Ad Hoc Shifts Available

We are currently recruiting experienced Temporary Support Workers to join our team, supporting individuals within specialised supported living services across Oxfordshire.

We have a variety of flexible opportunities available, including:

-Block bookings

-Full-time hours

-Ad hoc shifts

-Day, night and weekend shifts available

Our supported living services specialise in supporting adults with:

-Learning Disabilities

-Autism

-Mental Health needs

Essential Requirements

Applicants must have:

-NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Essential)

-At least 6 months' UK support work experience

-The right to work in the UK

-A caring, reliable and person-centred approach

Mandatory Training Certificates

Applicants must hold up-to-date certificates in:

-Basic Life Support

-Equality & Diversity

-Fire Safety

-Health & Safety

-Infection Control

-Information Governance

-Mental Capacity Act

-Moving & Handling

-Medication Administration

-Safeguarding Adults

-Safeguarding Children

Essential Specialist Training

Applicants must also hold valid certificates in:

-PEG Feeding

-Buccal Medication Administration

-Medication Management

-Epilepsy Awareness

-Dysphagia Awareness

-Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)

-Mandatory Training

-Catheter Care

Applications that do not meet the above training and qualification requirements will not be considered.
