£13.52–£13.78 per hour (depending on induction/NVQ) Sleep‑ins: £75 per sleep‑in Full‑time | 2‑week rolling rota | Overtime available

An established therapeutic children’s home near Tuxford (NG22) is recruiting a Children’s Residential Support Worker to join their growing team. This service supports young people aged 6–17.5 with emotional and behavioural needs, providing a safe, structured and nurturing environment within secure private grounds.

The beautiful home features spacious communal lounges, a large kitchen and dining area, a dedicated games room, a sensory room, private bedrooms, secure outdoor recreational areas, patio and garden spaces, and dedicated facilities for education, therapy and one‑to‑one emotional wellbeing work. The environment is designed to promote stability, emotional regulation, positive routines and long‑term development.

As a Children’s Residential Support Worker, you will help young people build resilience, develop daily routines, regulate emotions and work towards independence. You’ll support daily living, provide emotional and behavioural guidance, encourage education and activities, and help maintain a safe, nurturing home.

The home follows a trauma‑informed approach, focusing on building trusting relationships, promoting safety and stability, supporting emotional wellbeing, and helping young people achieve positive long‑term outcomes.

Rota Pattern

  • Week 1: 2 shifts + 2 sleep‑ins

  • Week 2: 3 shifts + 3 sleep‑ins
