Supported Housing Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced manager who is passionate about delivering safe, high-quality housing and support services.
The Role:
As Supported Housing Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of the service.
You will lead a team of support staff and ensure residents receive safe, person-centred, trauma-informed and outcome-focused support.
Your responsibilities as a Supported Housing Manager will include:
- Managing and supporting a team of housing and support staff.
- Ensuring high-quality, person-centred support is delivered.
- Overseeing risk assessments, support plans and safeguarding procedures.
- Ensuring appropriate responses to high-risk cases and multi-agency referrals.
- Managing staffing levels, rotas and day-to-day service operations.
- Monitoring occupancy, referrals, voids and property standards.
- Managing service performance against targets and contractual requirements.
- Working closely with local authorities, health services, domestic abuse services and other partner agencies.
- Supporting residents to access appropriate housing, benefits and other services.
- Helping residents work towards independence and suitable move-on accommodation.
- Ensuring accurate records, reporting and compliance.
- Promoting a positive culture of teamwork, reflective practice and continuous improvement.
- Managing incidents and ensuring appropriate escalation when required.
- Supporting the development of new ideas and best practice within the service.
- Previous management experience within supported housing, homelessness, social care or a related service.
- Strong knowledge of domestic abuse and the impact it can have on individuals and families.
- Experience supporting people with complex and multiple needs.
- Knowledge of safeguarding adults and children.
- Experience managing staff, rotas and service delivery.
- Experience completing or overseeing risk and needs assessments.
- A strong understanding of trauma-informed and strengths-based approaches.
- Experience working with MARAC or other multi-agency safeguarding processes is desirable.
- Knowledge of housing, welfare benefits and move-on options.
- Experience working with local authorities and external partner agencies.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with challenging situations.
