35 hours per week, with services operating between 7:45am and 8:10pm, Monday to Sunday. Worked on a shift rota including 1 weekend in every 5 weeks. Shifts are either 7:45am to 3:15pm (Early) or 12:10pm to 8:10pm (Late), No sleep-in duties are required.

This role will help us to do this by working as part of a team within a supported housing service in Greater Manchester, providing high quality, personalised housing related support to young customers aged 16 to 25 years old.
In this role, you will be responsible for
Using a person-centred approach to enable customers to develop independent living skills and move on successfully into more permanent accommodation suitable to their needs.
Successfully building on skills that will support customers to access work, training or education.
Using techniques such as coaching and strengths-based approaches to enable customers to develop emotional resilience, overcome barriers and take control of their lives.
Be involved in all aspects of housing management, which include but are not exclusive to; collecting rent, reporting repairs, maintaining the health and safety of the building.
We need people who have
Experience of in working within a supported housing environment or relevant social care setting.
Experience of supporting young people or vulnerable adults with multiple support needs.
Knowledge and understanding of the needs of young people and vulnerable adults.
Knowledge of issues that can impact the lives of young people, including homelessness, mental health and tenancy sustainment.
Understanding of safeguarding, professional boundaries and risk management.
Strong communication, recording and interpersonal skills.
The ability to build positive relationships with clients, colleagues and partner agencies.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
It would be advantageous if you have:
Experience of working within supported housing services.
Knowledge of legislation and best practice relating to housing support, safeguarding
A qualification in Health and Social Care or a related subject.
Please note that an Enhanced DBS check is required for this role and you must be able to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays where required.
