Supported Living Manager
Peters Dean Care Ltd
Service Manager – Supported Accommodation 16-18s
Make a difference. Lead with purpose. Change lives.
Are you an experienced Service Manager, Registered Manager, Team Leader or Senior Support Professional ready for your next challenge?
Do you have the confidence to lead a team, the resilience to handle challenging situations, and the compassion to make a genuine difference to young people?
If so, we’d love to hear from you.
We’re looking for an ambitious and passionate Service Manager to lead a supported accommodation service for young people, creating a safe, nurturing and empowering environment where they can thrive.
This is more than a management role
You’ll be at the heart of the service — supporting your team, championing young people and making sure every young person has the opportunity to achieve their goals.
Using a trauma-informed approach, you’ll help create an environment where young people feel safe, listened to and respected, while supporting them to develop the confidence and skills they need for greater independence.
You’ll lead from the front, build strong relationships and inspire your team to deliver the very best support.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Leading, motivating and developing a fantastic support team.
- Creating a positive culture where people feel valued, supported and confident to share ideas.
- Ensuring young people receive outstanding, individualised support.
- Championing the voices, wishes and aspirations of the young people you support.
- Promoting safeguarding and ensuring young people are safe and protected.
- Making sure support plans, risk assessments and records are accurate, effective and person-centred.
- Working closely with families, social workers and other professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes.
- Managing rotas, resources and the day-to-day running of the service.
- Supporting recruitment and building a strong, committed team.
- Coaching and mentoring staff to help them grow and develop.
- Monitoring quality, performance and outcomes and always looking for ways to improve.
- Ensuring the service meets regulatory, contractual and safeguarding requirements.
What are we looking for?
We’re looking for someone who can lead with both confidence and compassion.
You’ll have experience supporting vulnerable people, ideally within supported accommodation, supported housing, care or a similar environment.
You’ll also bring:
- Previous experience of managing or leading a team.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- The confidence to make decisions and manage challenging situations.
- A calm, resilient and solutions-focused approach.
- A genuine passion for helping young people achieve their potential.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities.
- An understanding of safeguarding, risk management and compliance.
- The ability to motivate people, give great feedback and drive positive change.
- A commitment to trauma-informed and strengths-based practice.
Be part of something meaningful
If you’re looking for a role where no two days are the same, where your leadership genuinely matters, and where you can see the difference you’re making in young people’s lives, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
Bring your experience. Bring your ideas. Bring your passion.
