SW Verification Engineer

Position Title: SW Verification Engineer

Duration: Contract or Permanent

Location: Gothenburg, Sweden

*Applicants MUST already be onsite in Sweden and have proof of immediate, on-going and valid eligibility to work full time in Sweden. You must also have a Swedish B-Drivers Licence*

The Role

As an integration functional test engineer, you are responsible for the functional verification of the complete electrical systems within SW Verification team in front of SW release for OEMs EU cars. In this role you will work closely together with the China team. Execute verification and develop test methods in the complete electrical integration area. You will be a part of the integration test team for the European markets in Sweden.

Key Responsibilities

• Running test cases (both directed and exploratory), analyzing results, and debugging software failures in SWIM system.

• Creating verification test methods and updating test environments (test cars).

• Working closely with software developers, hardware engineers, and test leaders to understand and fix issues identified on vehicle level.

Qualifications and skills required for the role

• B.Sc. in Electrical or Computer Engineering or similar.

• 3 years’ experience of automotive & integration of embedded systems

• Relevant experience of the Integration and functional domain test in vehicle.

• Experience driver of automotive tests in vehicles.

• Ability to drive, motivate and convince.

•Fluent in English, spoken and written

•Swedish B-Driver’s license

•Vector tools like CANoe or CANalyzer, Jira
