Swimming Teacher

A well know swim school in the local area is hiring!

We are looking for a passionate and qualified Swim Teacher to join our friendly team in delivering high-quality swimming lessons to babies, pre-school children, and young swimmers in a warm and supportive environment.

Essential Qualifications

• STA Swim Teaching qualification (or equivalent)
• STA Baby & Pre-School qualification (or equivalent)
• Valid DBS check

Desired Qualities & Experience

We're looking for someone who is:

• Bubbly, friendly, and passionate about teaching swimming
• Experienced in teaching children aged 0–4 years
• Comfortable singing welcome and goodbye songs, as well as the occasional nursery rhyme
• Happy working in a warm pool environment (33°C water temperature, with the air temperature slightly higher)
• Available to teach a 4-hour weekday shift

Teaching Hours Available

• Mondays: 9:30am – 1:30/2:00pm
• Wednesdays: 9:30am – 1:30/2:00pm

Additional opportunities may also be available:

• After-school lessons: 4:00pm – 6:00/7:00pm

Term Dates

The autumn term runs from the week commencing 7th September through to the week commencing 14th December.

Half-term break: Closed during the week commencing 26th October.

Rate of Pay

💷 Up to £25 per hour for the right candidate.

Please note: This position is offered on a self-employed contract basis.
