Switchgear Commisioning Engineer

We're recruiting a Commissioning Engineer to join a leading engineering manufacturer delivering modular electrical and power solutions for critical infrastructure projects.

• Commission and test modular electrical systems and LV switchgear
• Carry out in-house and on-site commissioning
• Complete testing, commissioning and handover documentation
• Support first-of-kind (FOK) testing and equipment integration
• Fault-find electrical systems and resolve technical issues
• Work closely with project teams and customers

• Previous experience as a Commissioning or Test Engineer
• Electrical background with knowledge of LV switchgear
• Level 3 Electrical or Engineering qualification
• Able to read electrical drawings and fault-find
• Flexible to travel to customer sites when required

• Data Centre experience
• PDU experience
• Level 4 HTQ Engineering qualification

• £17.87 per hour
