Are you a confident and creative Level 3 Teaching Assistant or HLTA who is passionate about helping children overcome barriers and enjoy learning?

Cover People are working with a welcoming Salford primary school seeking an experienced practitioner to lead a small group of KS2 pupils with challenging behaviour.

The role:

• Plan and deliver English and Maths activities each morning
• Lead outdoor learning, sport and enrichment sessions each afternoon
• Create an engaging alternative curriculum suited to the pupils’ needs
• Build positive relationships and provide clear, consistent boundaries
• Help pupils develop their confidence, engagement and resilience

✅ You must have:

• A Level 3 Teaching Assistant or HLTA qualification
• Current Team Teach training – essential
• Experience supporting challenging behaviour or SEMH needs
• Confidence planning and leading learning independently
• An energetic, patient and positive approach
