The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and strengthening our relationship with Kent County Council, ensuring recruitment activity is delivered to a high standard and within agreed SLA timeframes. This is a role where sound judgement, collaboration and operational expertise are essential, with responsibility for client engagement, team support, compliance and process efficiency.

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing client relationships to ensure clear communication, strong rapport and proactive resolution of challenges.

  • Supporting service reviews with hiring managers and stakeholders to maintain high satisfaction levels.

  • Developing and improving processes to enhance team efficiency and service delivery.

  • Ensuring weekly billing is completed accurately to minimise held debt Supporting the Business Manager with performance reporting and understanding desk value.

  • Coaching and mentoring Talent Partners and Resourcers across the team.

  • Resourcing candidates through advertising, search and selection to build a strong bank of interpreters and translators.

  • Completing quality checks and ensuring all legal and contractual compliance requirements are met.

  • Maintaining regular aftercare contact with agency workers.

  • Managing first‑line customer queries and complaints with tact and integrity.

  • Ensuring CRM records, vacancies and assignments are accurate and up to date.

  • Leading and participating in candidate engagement activities, including liaison with marketing on campaigns.

  • Releasing vacancies and managing the supply chain in line with our Joint Accountability Statement.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in a recruitment agency or managed service environment.

  • Strong understanding of the local market and how it influences recruitment activity.

  • Knowledge of gross profit, statutory contributions, margins and fee calculations.

  • Advanced understanding of relevant legislation including AWR, Agency Conduct Regulations, Equality, IR35 Off Payroll and H&S.

  • Experience using a recruitment CRM for adverts, searches, vacancy management and placements.

  • Adaptable communication style with the ability to influence at senior level.

  • Organised approach with the ability to prioritise multiple activities.
