Perm AMHP Tameside opportunity.

Must have MH experience and Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience 

• Work collaboratively across a range of disciplines to continuously promote a ‘needs based’ approach to all service users.
• Promote a partnership approach to service delivery.
• Develop clear support plans following a Care Act assessment, Complete funding applications, complete work that has legal requirements such as Copdol, dols, 21a’s, reports for court etc
• Develop meaningful engagement with individuals who are often referred to as ‘difficult to engage’ and their families.
• Support Carers through the Care Act
• Work with Children about to turn 18 and transition into Adult Mental Health services
• The team will offer a 6-day service within the hours of 09.00hrs to 17.00hrs, the majority being Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturdays. Some flexibility will be necessary to provide planned interventions

GRADE G-N (including Soulbury)

5 YEARS SERVICE - 28 Days 

10 YEARS SERVICE - 31 Days 

Qualified and Warranted AMHPs once warranted and on the rota additional £82 per AMHP shift worked, average around 25 - 30 shifts per year

If not an AMHP will after a period of time be willing to train the person to be an AMHP 

All post are full time Monday to Friday , with the very occasional Saturday 

Mon 8:30 to 5

Tue 8:30 to 5

Wed 8:30 - 5

Thur 8:30 to 4:30

Fri 8:30 to 4:00

As a team we are working on 1 working from home day a week,  arranged with the managers

We offer regular supervision, Peer supervision and joint training sessions with Pennine care Mental Health service

Additional AMHP supervision, AMHP conferences, AMHP peer support.
