We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join a thriving Humanities department. The successful candidate will inspire students to develop a deeper understanding of the world around them, fostering curiosity about physical and human geography while delivering engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.

• Plan and deliver outstanding Geography lessons that engage and motivate learners.
• Teach Geography across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 (where applicable).
• Monitor, assess, and report on student progress in line with school policies.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning.
• Contribute to curriculum development and department initiatives.
• Participate in extracurricular activities, educational visits, and fieldwork opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to support student achievement.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour, safeguarding, and wellbeing.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Degree in Geography or a related subject.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography education.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to raising attainment and promoting outstanding student outcomes.
• Ability to inspire and engage students of varying abilities.

• Experience teaching GCSE and A-Level Geography.
• Knowledge of current curriculum developments and assessment practices.
• Experience organising or supporting fieldwork activities.
• Ability to contribute to wider school life and extracurricular programmes.
