Salary: £175-£255 per day (MPS/UPS dependent on experience)

This exciting maternity cover position is ideal for both experienced teachers and ECTs who are eager to deliver engaging lessons and inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4. Working within a supportive and well-resourced department, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact on students' artistic development and confidence.

As Teacher of Art & Design, you will:

• Deliver engaging and inspiring Art & Design lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Encourage creativity through a range of artistic techniques, media and disciplines.
• Plan and deliver imaginative lessons that challenge and motivate learners of all abilities.
• Track, assess and support student progress through effective feedback and assessment.
• Contribute to exhibitions, enrichment activities and wider departmental initiatives.
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment where all students can flourish.

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is working towards achieving it.
• Has a degree in Art & Design or a related subject.
• Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and enthusiasm for creative education.
• Has strong classroom management skills and high expectations of student achievement.
• Is committed to inclusive teaching and ensuring every learner reaches their potential.
• Works collaboratively with colleagues and contributes positively to the school community.
