Job Description

Key Responsibilities
As a Teacher of Business Studies, you will inspire students through engaging and relevant lessons that bring business concepts to life. You will encourage curiosity, develop analytical thinking, and help students build the knowledge and skills they need to succeed both academically and beyond the classroom.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging and well-planned Business Studies lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Supporting students to achieve their full potential through high-quality teaching and effective assessment.
- Monitoring progress and providing meaningful feedback that promotes continuous improvement.
- Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every student feels supported and challenged.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to develop the curriculum and share best practice.
- Contributing to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities and school events.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is due to achieve QTS before September 2026.
- A degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a closely related subject.
- A strong understanding of Business Studies and a genuine enthusiasm for the subject.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
- The ability to motivate, engage, and inspire students with varying learning needs.
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
