The Role


The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
  • Inspire students to develop their understanding of programming, coding and computational thinking.
  • Teach a broad range of computing topics, including Python programming and digital technologies.
  • Plan and deliver challenging lessons that cater for learners of all abilities.
  • Monitor, assess and support student progress to maximise achievement.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Promote excellent behaviour, engagement and academic standards.
  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the department and school community.


We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Has experience teaching Computer Science within a secondary school setting.
  • Possesses strong subject knowledge, including programming and coding principles.
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills.
  • Has a genuine passion for technology and digital education.
  • Can motivate, inspire and challenge students of all abilities.
  • Is committed to raising achievement and delivering high-quality teaching.
