Brightstone Education Partners is recruiting for a Teacher of English & Drama on behalf of a highly regarded secondary school in the Swindon area.

The Role
The successful candidate will:
- Deliver engaging English and Drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Inspire students through literature, language, and performance
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment built on high expectations
- Support students of all abilities to achieve excellent outcomes
- Contribute to a thriving performing arts culture and wider school community
- Work collaboratively with colleagues using established curriculum resources and schemes of work
- Monitor and assess student progress effectively
The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience teaching English and Drama across secondary age ranges
- Demonstrates strong classroom management and evidence-informed teaching practice
- Can build positive relationships with students and colleagues
- Has a passion for literature, language, and creative expression
- Believes in inclusive education and high aspirations for all learners
- Enjoys working as part of a collaborative and supportive team
