We work with a wide range of secondary schools across Greater Manchester and are looking for teachers with experience in Food Technology, practical cookery, nutrition and food science.

Whether you're looking for regular supply work, a short-term placement or a longer-term position within a school department, we can help you find a role that suits your experience and availability.

Daily supply gives you the flexibility to teach without the additional workload that comes with a permanent or long-term role.

You'll deliver the lessons provided by the school, support students with their practical work, maintain a safe and tidy classroom or kitchen, and finish when the school day ends.

If you're looking for something more consistent, we also have long-term Food Technology teaching positions available.

Long-term roles offer the opportunity to become part of a school's department and build relationships with students and staff. You'll be responsible for planning, preparing resources and assessing students' work as required.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS) - essential
• Experience teaching Food Technology at KS3 and GCSE level
• Strong knowledge of nutrition, food science and practical cookery
• Confidence managing kitchens, equipment, allergens and food safety procedures
• Strong classroom management skills
• References that support your Food Technology teaching experience
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, or willingness to obtain one
• Overseas Police Checks where applicable
• Legal right to work in the UK
