Salary: MPS Scale - £32,916 - £49,084 (MPS/UPS, dependent on experience)

Clarence Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Leicester that is seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Teacher of Geography. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful Humanities faculty where academic achievement, student engagement, and professional development are highly valued.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop a deeper understanding of the physical and human world whilst encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and global awareness.

As a Geography Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and challenging Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Inspire students to develop an understanding of environmental, social, and global issues.
• Plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of learners of all abilities.
• Assess, monitor, and support student progress to maximise achievement.
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment where students can thrive.
• Contribute to curriculum development and wider departmental initiatives.
• Support enrichment activities, fieldwork opportunities, and cross-curricular learning where appropriate.

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Have experience teaching Geography within a secondary school setting.
• Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a passion for the subject.
• Have high expectations for student progress, behaviour, and achievement.
• Be a confident classroom practitioner with strong communication skills.
• Be committed to creating engaging and inspiring learning experiences.
• Work effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive team.
