Brightstone Education Partners is recruiting for a Teacher of Geography on behalf of a successful and ambitious secondary school in Reading.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

• Deliver engaging and challenging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5
• Inspire students to develop a deeper understanding of the world around them
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Monitor and assess student progress effectively
• Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure excellent outcomes for all learners
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, engagement, and achievement

The Ideal Candidate

The school is looking for someone who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has a passion for Geography and education
• Can motivate and inspire students of all abilities
• Demonstrates excellent classroom practice
• Has strong communication and organisational skills
• Is committed to continuous professional development
• Shares a commitment to raising aspirations and improving outcomes for young people
