The school is looking to appoint a Teacher of MFL (German) on a full-time maternity cover contract from 2nd November 2026 until the end of the academic year in 2027. The successful Teacher of MFL (German) will teach German across KS3 and KS4 within a high-performing department, with the opportunity to teach KS5 considered an advantage. The role requires a Teacher of MFL (German) who can deliver outstanding lessons, ensure full student engagement, and foster positive relationships throughout the school community.

• Are you a passionate Teacher of MFL (German) who can inspire a love of languages in young people?
• Do you have the ability to deliver engaging and outstanding German lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4?
• Can you build strong relationships with students and colleagues while maintaining high expectations for achievement and behaviour?

The successful Teacher of MFL (German) will have:

• QTS with a Modern Foreign Languages specialism
• Experience teaching German across KS3 and KS4
• The ability to teach Spanish or French as a second language would be advantageous
• Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
• A proven ability to deliver engaging and outstanding lessons
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
