A welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Farnborough is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Health & Social Care and/or Child Development to join its team from September 2026. The Department

Health & Social Care and Child Development are valued subjects that help students develop a deeper understanding of health, wellbeing, child development and the caring professions. The Role

You will:

  • Teach Health & Social Care and/or Child Development across KS4
  • Deliver engaging and relevant lessons that inspire students
  • Develop students' knowledge of health, wellbeing, care and development
  • Support students in achieving strong outcomes and progression routes
  • Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking someone who:

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • Has experience teaching Health & Social Care, Child Development, or a related subject
  • Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for education
  • Can engage and motivate students of all abilities
  • Has high expectations for behaviour, engagement and achievement
  • Works well as part of a collaborative team
