Clarence Recruitment is delighted to be working with a successful and welcoming secondary school in Leicester to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated History Teacher for the new term.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to join a thriving Humanities department and inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The school has a strong reputation for academic achievement, student engagement, and staff development, making it an ideal environment for both experienced teachers and ambitious Early Career Teachers.
As a History Teacher, you will play a key role in bringing the past to life, helping students develop critical thinking skills, analyse historical events, and understand how history shapes the modern world.

• Teach History across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)
• Plan and deliver engaging, challenging, and differentiated lessons
• Monitor progress and provide effective feedback to support student achievement
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Contribute to curriculum planning and the wider Humanities faculty
• Support enrichment activities that enhance students' learning experiences

We are looking for a talented History specialist who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for History
• Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Can motivate and engage learners of all abilities
• Maintains high expectations for student attainment and behaviour
• Is committed to raising achievement and supporting student wellbeing
• Works collaboratively and contributes positively to school life
