Clarence Recruitment is working in partnership with a successful secondary school in Leicestershire to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher to join their thriving department on a full-time rolling contract starting in the new academic term.
This is an excellent opportunity for an inspiring practitioner to teach Physical Education across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging students to embrace healthy lifestyles, develop confidence and resilience, and participate fully in both curriculum and extracurricular sport.

The Role
The successful candidate will:
- Deliver engaging and challenging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Inspire students to develop teamwork, confidence, leadership and resilience.
- Promote participation in a wide range of sports and physical activities.
- Assess, monitor and support pupil progress to ensure positive outcomes.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
- Contribute to extracurricular clubs, fixtures and sporting events.
- Support the continued development of an inclusive and engaging PE curriculum.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and raise standards.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Have experience teaching Physical Education at secondary level.
- Be confident delivering PE across KS3 and KS4.
- Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Have high expectations of student achievement and participation.
- Be enthusiastic about extracurricular sport and school enrichment activities.
- Possess strong communication and organisational skills.
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
