Tradewind Recruitment Manchester is looking for experienced secondary PE Teachers to work in schools across Greater Manchester. We have opportunities for both flexible daily supply and longer-term placements.

We're specifically looking for qualified teachers with QTS or QTLS and experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting. These are teaching roles rather than coaching positions, so you'll need the appropriate teaching qualifications, classroom experience and safeguarding requirements.

Whether your background is in football, athletics, rugby, hockey, basketball, fitness or a range of team and individual sports, we can help you find a role that matches your experience and availability.

Daily supply is a good option if you're looking for flexibility without the additional workload of a long-term or permanent position.

You'll deliver the lessons provided by the school, manage students effectively and ensure equipment and teaching spaces are left safe and tidy. There's no planning or marking required, allowing you to finish at the end of the school day.

If you're looking for greater consistency, we also have long-term PE teaching positions available.

Long-term placements give you the opportunity to become part of a school's PE department, build relationships with students and colleagues, and contribute to the wider school community.

As with any long-term teaching role, you'll be expected to plan lessons, prepare resources and assess students' progress.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS) - essential
• Experience teaching PE within a secondary school setting
• Ability to confidently deliver PE lessons across KS3 and GCSE
• Strong classroom management skills and excellent subject knowledge
• References supporting your PE teaching experience
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, or willingness to obtain one
• Overseas Police Checks where applicable
• Legal right to work in the UK
