We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHE) to join a dedicated team in Coventry. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to deliver a high-quality PSHE curriculum that equips students with the knowledge, confidence, and skills to thrive both in school and beyond.

The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting students' personal development, wellbeing, and understanding of important social issues, helping to prepare them for life in modern Britain.

The Opportunity

As our PSHE Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive PSHE lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Create a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment where students feel confident discussing sensitive topics.
  • Deliver high-quality learning across key areas including health and wellbeing, relationships and sex education (RSE), online safety, financial education, citizenship, and careers education.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and pastoral teams to support students' personal development.
  • Contribute to whole-school initiatives that promote wellbeing, inclusion, safeguarding, and positive behaviour.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards achieving it.
  • Be passionate about supporting young people's personal development and wellbeing.
  • Have the ability to deliver engaging lessons that encourage discussion, reflection, and critical thinking.
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Be committed to creating an inclusive environment where every student feels valued and respected.
  • Be willing to contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
