Salary: £34,000 – £37,000

About the Job

As an HR Professional Teaching Assessor, you will deliver and assess HR Support Level 3 and People Professional Level 5 Apprenticeship Standards, supporting learners from enrolment through to successful completion.

You will manage your own learner caseload, providing engaging teaching, coaching, assessment, and guidance to help apprentices develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required for a successful HR career.

Working closely with learners, employers, and internal teams, you will ensure high-quality learning experiences that meet apprenticeship standards and funding requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging teaching, learning, coaching, and assessment sessions for HR apprenticeship programmes
  • Manage a caseload of learners and support timely achievement of qualifications
  • Conduct learner progress reviews, assessments, and development meetings
  • Prepare learners for End Point Assessment (EPA)
  • Build strong relationships with employers, managers, and key stakeholders
  • Support learners with Maths, English, and wider professional development where required
  • Maintain accurate learner records using e-portfolio systems
  • Embed safeguarding, Prevent, British Values, Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion into delivery
  • Ensure compliance with apprenticeship funding rules and quality standards
  • Contribute to standardisation meetings, quality improvement activity, and inspection readiness

This role involves remote delivery alongside occasional travel to support learners and employers when required.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an experienced HR professional, HR Trainer, HR Tutor, or Teaching Assessor who is passionate about developing people and supporting career progression.

You will have:

  • Strong HR industry experience with knowledge of people practices and workplace development
  • CIPD Level 5 Associate status and/or Level 5 Diploma in People Management
  • Recognised teaching qualification at Level 5 or above
  • Assessor qualification such as TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/D33, or equivalent
  • Experience delivering HR apprenticeship standards or work-based learning programmes
  • Knowledge of apprenticeship funding, compliance requirements, and End Point Assessment processes
  • Experience supporting learners with different abilities and development needs
  • Excellent coaching, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage a learner caseload and achieve learner outcomes
  • Confidence using e-portfolio systems and Microsoft Office applications

Desirable experience:

  • Experience delivering Level 3 HR Support and Level 5 People Professional Apprenticeships
  • Functional Skills Maths and English delivery experience
  • Experience within government-funded training or apprenticeship provision
