Teaching Assistant – 1:1 SEND Support (KS2)
Location: DN6, Doncaster
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only

Provide Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to work full-time in a welcoming primary school in the DN6 area of Doncaster from September.

This rewarding role involves providing 1:1 support for a pupil with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) within Key Stage 2. The successful candidate will play a vital role in helping the pupil access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential in a supportive classroom environment.

The Role
  • Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a KS2 pupil with SEND.
  • Support learning activities both in and out of the classroom.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCO to implement individual learning strategies.
  • Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and social development.
  • Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Previous experience working with children with SEND is desirable.
  • Experience in a primary school setting is advantageous.
  • Patient, caring, and adaptable with excellent communication skills.
  • Able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • Committed to supporting children's learning and wellbeing.
