Core Responsibilities

As a versatile Teaching Assistant, you will play an active role in raising attainment and keeping pupils engaged:

• Academic Interventions: Plan and execute small-group booster sessions tailored to literacy, reading comprehension, and key maths skills.
• Classroom Logistics: Collaborate with the primary teacher to maintain an orderly environment and prepare learning resources in Ellesmere Port.
• Inclusive Guidance: Assist children with varying abilities, ensuring lessons are accessible and tailored to individual learning speeds.
• Pupil Monitoring: Observe classroom performance and relay progress updates to class teachers and SEN support teams in Ellesmere Port.

Candidate Profile

• Practical experience serving as a primary Teaching Assistant.
• Strong confidence and competence in foundational maths, phonics, and literacy support.
