Core Objectives & Duties

In your role as a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key part in driving daily classroom success:

• Group Interventions: Plan and guide small-group booster activities designed to raise attainment in English and maths.
• 1:1 Learning Support: Provide tailored guidance to pupils who require additional scaffolding or SEN adjustments in Chester.
• Classroom Setup: Help class teachers prepare learning resources, manage daily routines, and maintain an inspiring atmosphere.
• Positive Reinforcement: Encourage good behaviour, focus, and social confidence across diverse learning spaces in Chester.

What We Are Looking For

• Relevant experience as a primary Teaching Assistant or a strong background in child-centred environments.

• A clear commitment to expanding your skill set through continuous education and training.
• An Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or a willingness to process one via Academics).
