Education Matters is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Victoria Park from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children's learning and development. Whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant or looking to begin your career in education, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role as a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Work with individual pupils and small groups to support learning.
- Help create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Encourage pupils' confidence, independence, and social development.
- Assist with classroom preparation and learning resources.
- Promote high standards of behaviour and safeguarding.
- Previous experience working with children in a school, nursery, or similar setting (desirable but not essential).
- A positive, patient, and caring approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's education.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
