Hays Education is urgently recruiting experienced and enthusiastic Secondary School Teaching Assistants to work across a range of mainstream and specialist secondary schools in the Manchester Area.

🎓
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and group support for students with special educational needs (SEN)
• Assist in delivering Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
• Support classroom teachers with behaviour management and student engagement
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
• Collaborate with SEN professionals, including speech therapists and educational psychologists
• Track and report on student progress and development

📋 Requirements:

• Essential:
  Experience working with children, ideally in an SEN setting
• Optional:
  Experience working within a healthcare/care worker setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive, adaptable, and compassionate approach
