Are you a passionate and adaptable Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a supportive school environment?
We are working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Harrow that is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to join their team from September.
The successful candidate will need to be flexible and willing to work across multiple year groups, as the exact class placement is still being finalised. There will be children with additional needs within the class, so candidates must be comfortable supporting pupils with SEN and adapting their approach to meet different needs.
The Role:
- Support teaching and learning across a mainstream primary school
- Be willing to work across different year groups
- Support pupils with their learning, engagement and development
- Work confidently with children with additional needs
- Provide classroom and learning support to pupils and teachers
- Build positive and trusting relationships with children
- Adapt to different classroom environments and individual pupil needs
- Work closely with teachers and the wider school team
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience working with children, ideally within a school setting
- Be willing and confident working across multiple year groups
- Be comfortable supporting children with additional needs
- Be patient, nurturing and adaptable
- Have a positive and proactive attitude
- Be a strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Be keen to make a positive difference to children's learning and development
