Looking for flexible school work, a regular classroom role or your next permanent position? Mana Education is recruiting Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants for opportunities in Wellingborough and surrounding areas.

Whether you're an experienced TA, returning to education or bringing relevant experience from childcare, care or youth work, we'd love to hear from you.

Teaching Assistant opportunities

We welcome applicants interested in:

Primary support: EYFS, Reception, KS1 and KS2, helping children with phonics, reading, writing, numeracy and classroom activities.
Secondary support: Helping pupils access lessons, stay engaged and develop confidence across KS3 and KS4.
One-to-one and small-group support: Working with individual pupils or delivering focused learning activities under teacher guidance.
SEN/SEND support: Supporting pupils in mainstream classrooms, specialist schools and resource bases.
Higher Level Teaching Assistant roles: Opportunities for applicants with suitable experience and qualifications, with duties and pay discussed separately.

You don't need experience across every age group or setting. Tell us where your strengths and interests lie.

SEN/SEND experience welcomed

We welcome experience supporting autism/ASC, ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties, speech, language and communication needs, sensory impairments, physical disabilities and complex needs.

Experience in nurture provision, behaviour support, care or helping children develop independence is also valuable. Any personal care duties will be discussed before you accept a role.

What you'll do

Depending on the placement, you may:

Help the teacher prepare resources and support classroom activities.
Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning.
Encourage positive behaviour, participation and independence.
Support pupils' social and emotional development.
Share observations with teaching staff and follow school safeguarding procedures.

What we're looking for

Experience supporting children or young people, or relevant transferable skills.
A patient, reliable and encouraging approach.
Good communication and the ability to work as part of a school team.
A commitment to pupils' wellbeing and learning.

A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is welcome, but isn't essential for every role. We consider relevant experience and each school's requirements. Graduates considering a career in education are welcome to enquire.
