Horizon Teachers are currently looking for caring, reliable and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to work on a daily supply basis across schools in Tower Hamlets.
We are looking for candidates who are passionate about supporting children with additional needs and can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
The role may involve:
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN
- Supporting children with autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language and other additional needs
- Helping pupils engage with classroom learning and activities
- Supporting children’s emotional wellbeing, confidence and behaviour
- Working alongside teachers and SEN staff to provide effective support
- Helping maintain a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment
- Previous experience working with children, young people or SEN
- A caring, patient and supportive approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to adapt quickly to different school environments
- A genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential
