We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Part-Time Teaching Assistant to join our team each afternoon. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and would like to become part of a supportive school community.
Main Duties
- Support teachers and staff with the supervision and care of children during the afternoon.
- Assist with activities, learning and play in a positive and engaging way.
- Provide individual support to children where required.
- Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and independence.
- Help prepare resources and maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment.
- Support children during transitions, activities and the end-of-day routine.
- Build positive relationships with children and contribute to their overall wellbeing.
- Work cooperatively with teachers and other members of the school team.
- Follow school policies and procedures, particularly those relating to safeguarding and child protection.
We are looking for someone who is
- Caring, reliable, patient and enthusiastic about working with children
- Interest in supporting children's learning and wellbeing.
- A positive team player, have good communication skills and be able to build strong relationships with children.
- Most importantly, you will be dependable and committed to working Monday to Friday, 3.00pm–6.00pm.
