Premier Education Ltd are currently working with a number of primary and specialist schools across Cheshire East who are looking for enthusiastic and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils from September.

We have a variety of opportunities available, including 1:1 support, small group interventions and general classroom support, working with pupils with a range of additional needs.

Whether you're an experienced SEN TA, a graduate looking to gain valuable school experience, or someone with a background in care, support work, youth work or similar, we'd love to hear from you.

Supply work is a great way to gain experience across different schools while having the flexibility to choose when you work. There are also opportunities for long-term and permanent positions for candidates looking to secure something more consistent.

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN

• Support pupils to access the curriculum and participate in classroom activities

• Deliver and support targeted interventions

• Assist pupils with their social, emotional and academic development

• Support pupils with a range of needs, which may include ASD, ADHD, SEMH and communication difficulties

• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and other support staff

• Encourage independence, confidence and positive behaviour

• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable

• Experience in a school, care, support work or similar setting is welcomed

• A patient, calm and nurturing approach

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Flexible, reliable and committed

• Ability to provide two references covering the last two years

• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply

£92 - £110 per day
Dependent on experience, qualifications and assignment.
