Salary: £100-£120 per day (PAYE) depending on experience
Principal Education is recruiting dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistants for an outstanding secondary school in the Hackney area. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity starting in September 2026, with the potential to become a permanent position following a successful qualifying period.

The RoleYou will work closely with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), supporting them both in the classroom and through targeted interventions. You may provide one-to-one support or work with small groups of students with a range of needs including:
- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- ADHD
- Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)
- Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
The successful candidate will help students access learning, build confidence, promote independence and support positive behaviour throughout the school day.
We Are Looking For Candidates Who:- Have previous experience working with children or young people with SEND.
- Have experience within a school, college, alternative provision or similar setting (preferred).
- Are patient, empathetic and resilient.
- Can build positive relationships with students and staff.
- Have strong behaviour management and communication skills.
- Are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Long-term, full-time employment (Monday-Friday).
- Competitive daily rates paid weekly via PAYE.
