Teaching Assistant

Prospero Teaching is working with a number of primary and secondary schools across East London that are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join their teams from September 2026.

Contract Details
Location: East London
Position: Teaching Assistant
Start Date: September 2026
Contract Type: Temporary, Long-term and Permanent opportunities available
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm (may vary depending on the school's needs)
Pay: GBP95 - GBP115 per day, dependent on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Full-time and part-time opportunities available

Experience, Training and Qualifications Required
· Previous experience working with children or young people in a school or similar setting is desirable
· Experience supporting pupils with SEN is advantageous
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· A patient, positive and proactive approach
· Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
· Reliable, punctual and committed to supporting student progress and wellbeing

To Be Eligible for This Role Through Prospero Teaching, You Must:
· Have the Right to Work in the UK
· Hold an enhanced child-barred list DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one
· Provide two professional child-related references covering the last two years
