Teaching Assistant

Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a warm, supportive primary school in Basildon, starting September. The school is looking for a committed practitioner with effective behaviour management skills and a genuine desire to inspire and support pupils across the primary age range.

• Duration - Ongoing / Long‑term

• Full time/part‑time - Full time

• Rate of pay - £90-£100 per day (depending on experience)

• Hours - 08:30am - 15:45pm

• Experience supporting children in a UK primary school (placements accepted)

• Relevant TA training or qualifications desirable

• Up‑to‑date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable)

• Hold Right to Work in the UK

• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one

• Provide two professional child‑related references
