Teaching Assistant

Prospero Teaching are working with a fantastic SEND school in Southwark who are looking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant from Sept 2026.

This is a school which supports sudents aged from 4-18 years old. Any candidate considering a role at this school would need to have a Child and Adult DBS.

The school is based in Peckham and has excellent public transport links as well as a large car park for those wanting to drive.

The role would be working in a set class as a general teaching assistant supporting several students with their work.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a care background, previous SEND experience or support work to use these skills in a school setting.

The school offers excellent career progression opportunities such as. Contracted work, additional role progression, additional hours.

The working day would be from 08:30-15:3 daily. Full time candidates are preferred but the school would consider part time options.
