We are working with a small, specialist setting in Stockport (SK6) who are looking to add two teaching assistants to their small yet highly supportive team.

Our school provides a tailored education to young people aged between 5 and 17, who find accessing mainstream education challenging - there will be a high focus on building professional, respectful and meaningful relationships with young people who need consistency and focus in their education.

Despite being a small setting, our Headteacher prides themselves on offering an inclusive learning environment where young people can thrive.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Recent Graduate, with a 2:2 or higher, OR Experience as a TA in a similar setting, OR experience working with young people in a vocational/coaching capacity
Previous experience working in a UK school
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year


TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
