Teaching Assistant - Thurrock - ASAP Start

Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a warm, supportive primary school in Thurrock, starting ASAP. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young learners and looking to develop their career within a nurturing school environment that offers strong mentorship and ongoing professional development.

The school is looking for a committed practitioner with effective behaviour management skills and a genuine desire to inspire and support pupils across the primary age range.

📌 CONTRACT DETAILS

• Location - Thurrock
• Position - Teaching Assistant
• Type of work - Classroom support
• Start date - ASAP
• Duration - Ongoing / Long-term
• Full time/part-time - Full-time
• Rate of pay - £90-£110 per day (depending on experience)
• Hours - 08:15am - 15:45pm

📚 EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience supporting children in a UK primary school (placements accepted)
• Relevant TA training or qualifications desirable
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable)

✔️ TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
• Provide two professional child-related references
