Protocol Education is recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work across a range of Primary, Secondary and SEND schools in Bristol.

Whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant or have relevant experience working with children and young people, we want to hear from you!

What you'll be doing
  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis.
  • Assisting teachers with classroom activities and learning.
  • Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and social skills.
  • Supporting children with additional needs where required.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement.
  • Creating a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Working closely with teachers and the wider school team.
‍ We are looking for candidates who:
  • Have experience working with children or young people.
  • Have previous Teaching Assistant, Learning Support or school experience.
  • Are passionate about education and supporting pupil development.
  • Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Are patient, reliable and adaptable.
  • Have experience supporting SEND pupils or are willing to develop their SEND knowledge.

Relevant experience such as youth work, support work, mentoring or volunteering with children will also be considered.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
