Teaching Assistant

An inclusive Primary School in Tottenham is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupils across KS1 on a Monday to Wednesday basis.

This Teaching Assistant position is available immediately and will roll into the next academic year, making it an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking a long-term part-time role within a supportive school environment.

The successful Teaching Assistant will play a key role in delivering phonics support, running intervention groups, and providing focused 1:1 assistance to pupils who require additional support with their learning.

• Supporting phonics sessions as a Teaching Assistant
• Providing 1:1 learning support as a Teaching Assistant
• Delivering targeted group interventions as a Teaching Assistant
• Supporting classroom learning across KS1 as a Teaching Assistant
• Working closely with teachers and support staff as a Teaching Assistant
• Encouraging pupil confidence, engagement, and progress as a Teaching Assistant

• Previous experience working in a primary school
• Strong understanding of phonics
• Experience supporting children in KS1
• Positive, patient, and proactive approach
• Ability to commit to Monday-Wednesday each week
