This Teaching Assistant opportunity is ideal for graduates who want to turn their university knowledge into practical classroom experience. As a Teaching Assistant, you'll support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, including children with Autism (ASD), ADHD, Speech & Language needs and SEMH.

Working as a Teaching Assistant will give you invaluable experience alongside experienced teachers, SENCOs and specialist staff while helping pupils achieve their full potential. Whether you're considering Educational Psychology, Primary Teaching or another child-focused profession, this Teaching Assistant role provides an excellent foundation.



Teaching Assistant Responsibilities

  • Supporting pupils with SEND as a Teaching Assistant
  • Working 1:1 and with small intervention groups as a Teaching Assistant
  • Assisting class teachers with engaging lessons
  • Promoting positive behaviour and inclusion
  • Helping pupils develop confidence and independence
  • Working collaboratively with school staff as a Teaching Assistant
