Teaching Assistant

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join friendly and inclusive primary schools across Islington. These roles are ideal for experienced TAs, graduates looking to gain school-based experience, or candidates considering a future career in teaching.

You will work closely with class teachers to support pupils with their learning, confidence and personal development, helping create a positive and engaging classroom environment.

• Support pupils during lessons and classroom activities.
• Work 1:1 and with small groups where required.
• Assist with literacy, numeracy and phonics activities.
• Encourage positive behaviour and engagement.
• Support pupils with additional learning needs where appropriate.
• Help create a safe, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment.
• Work closely with teachers and the wider school team.

• Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
• A genuine passion for education and supporting young people.
• Patient, caring and approachable.
• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
