Teaching Assistant — Wolverhampton

Your experience with children could have a different purpose in a specialist classroom.

Revolve Collective is recruiting Teaching Assistants interested in specialist and alternative provision settings in Wolverhampton.

The schools we work with include provision for pupils who need a more individual approach to learning. You’ll support classroom activities, help pupils follow routines and work alongside teachers to keep children involved in their school day.

Some pupils may need encouragement to start a task; others may need time and support before they’re ready to participate.

Tell us what you’ve done

A suitable background would include:

  • Direct experience supporting children or young people in education, childcare, youth work or care.

  • Experience maintaining boundaries and responding calmly to challenging situations.

  • Experience adapting activities or communication to meet individual needs.

  • An understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries.

Previous SEN or SEMH experience would be valuable. We also want to hear how you’ve built relationships and worked with colleagues to support children.
