Teaching Assistant

Right Education Ltd

Right Education is looking for a calm, caring and reliable 1:1 Support Assistant to help a child with additional needs settle into a new primary school.

The child will begin on a reduced morning timetable, with hours expected to increase as they become comfortable and established.

You’ll provide consistent individual support, build a trusting relationship and help the child engage positively with school life. You will be the pivotal link to this being a successful transition.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Patient, resilient and dependable
  • Experienced in SEN, SEMH, autism or behaviour support
  • Confident supporting emotional regulation and engagement
  • Able to commit as the child’s hours increase

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference at an important stage in a child’s education.

The school itself is a small rural school close to Pickering with a wonderful reputation, great behaviour across the school and is a place why staff genuinely enjoy spending their day. We would love to welcome a new member to that team.

Interested? Apply now with your CV or brief cover letter of your experience working with children and we will contact you!

An enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and safeguarding checks will be required.
